God’s word yet written by men, meant to be relevant to us today yet written 2000 years ago, inspiring for holiness yet also full of stories of villains and other shady characters, the world’s best selling book but read and understood by such few. Join us for this year’s Ezercizzi where Fr. Martin Cilia and Fr. Elija Vella will help us ‘face the book’ by answering various questions relating to the ‘Word of God’. You’ll end the week with many answered questions and a new realisation that no man could have possible invented the Bible. Most of all if we listen with open hearts we will experience and again find God and ourselves in its pages. He has added us to his ‘buddy list’ and is waiting for our response.

Homecoming deals with a story of a young man who is confronted with situations faced by many. A restless heart which leads him to look deep within himself and to take some tough decisions… it is there that he can find his true homecoming, the place where he encounters God who is merciful, forgiving and gracious.

Did Adam and Eve have a Belly Button? Did Adam and Eve really exist in the first place? The answer to these questions may or may not be important and relevant to our life. However, there are far more important matters we are seeking an answer for. What about: Is there a God and if so, why doesn’t He show up? I want to lead a happy life – but why is it sometimes so hard? Why does God allow suffering? Why doesn’t God always answer my prayers? How could a loving God send people to hell? How do I ensure that I will make it to heaven?

‘Don’t get left out’ gives a fresh perspective of hope to the questions about the end of time, space without bound and the concerns for the future. As young people who still profess to be Catholics, we turn to the most essential questions as to what Jesus has to say about this, the reality of hell on one hand and a loving God, heaven, salvation. What we must do to be saved? None of us want to be left out!
