The resurrection of Jesus is unique. It doesn’t pretend Good Friday and death never happened. Rather they are the means of this new life, the tunnel which one has to go through to live again.
Relationship
Thank God for our baptism and for allowing us to enter a personal relationship with Him.
Forgiveness
How can death swallow life and keep reigning? how can darkness be penetrated by Light and not be vanquished? Thank God for His forgiveness and incredible mercy.
Faith
Jesus’ resurrection is a prototype of our own hoped-for resurrection to glory. In hope we are saved (Rom 8:24). Thank God for the unique gift of faith.
Grace
The resurrection of the body will take place on the last day but the resurrection of the heart must take place every day. Thank God for the power and grace God gives us in prayer, the Sacraments, the Word and the Christian Community.
