Since 1987, the ongoing Saturday meetings have provided an atmosphere of heartfelt prayer expressed through praise and worship music as well as the opportunity to listen to God’s Word in a way which is relevant to our everyday lives.
Our mission is to reach out to others by sharing the love and truth that God has revealed in Jesus Christ. We believe and give witness to the fact that God’s grace, mercy and truth have the power to profoundly effect all those who welcome it in their lives.
This year’s Ezercizzi ‘Sozo – Finding Healing and Wholeness’, held in March provided a great opportunity to reflect on the gospel passages where Jesus healed so many people allowing the participants to apply the Word of God to their own lives.
On a summer evening in July, our Lamps Mission Teams positioned themselves outside a number of chapels around Malta offering free food, drinks and prayers with those who were passing by. People; foreigners and locals, young and old entered the chapels, lit a candle, wrote their prayer and posted it in a box which was placed in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
The SEVEN Course was held for the 6th year running in October and November, attended by around 400 people. The course, subtitled ‘Making sense of it all’, is all about discovering the real and complete meaning of our lives and understanding issues related to faith and spirituality in a new, deeper and personal way.
SEVEN reaches its culmination with a weekend titled ‘The Best is Yet to Come’ being held at the end of November where participants can experience everything that would have been discussed in the previous sessions in a real and personal way.
"Provided me with a safe environment to explore questions about faith and find the answers I needed."
"An amazing experience which helped me find God, new friends and happiness."
"SEVEN was my bridge towards God and a better life."
Confession is held weekly, on Wednesdays between 18:00 and 20:00.

Poland :: Youth Arise Conference
In July a group of around 45 people attended a conference held by Youth Arise International in Poland, joining many other Catholics from around the world. The experience was one of great joy and deeper discovery of God’s love and the universality of our Catholic Church.
"It was so encouraging to see vibrant catholic youths from all over the world come together for the same vision. It was also so exciting to sing and worship with Pilgrim&King in front of large crowds, leading these youths into congregational prayer and worship."
"Poland for me was the spiritual boost I needed. I really managed to not only build a better relationship with God, but also with the people who were with us. It was a week I definitely won’t forget!"
"Poland was an amazing experience that reminded me how you can never know too much about God, there are always things to learn. Apart from that it opened my eyes to how universal the Church is!
This trip was also amazing because I was able to experience beautiful places with amazing friends, and also making new ones along the way!!"
September saw a group of around 35 people from our community on our annual 10 day pilgrimage to the Holy Land. We visited many Biblical sites, had siginifcant moments of prayer at places were Biblical events took place and there were a number of fun things to do as well like as rafting on the river Jordan and a float in the Dead Sea.
"Israel is an experience every follower of Jesus should do. It brings the words of the Bible to life and helps in understanding better what really happened in this beautiful land – where God wore humanity over His divinity."
“The Bible came alive, and more than that, the desire to know more and to delve deeper into the Bible grew. The more I allowed Jesus to speak to me, the greater was the desire to know Him.”
"I traveled to many amazing countries, however this one not only captured my heart but also my soul (spiritual). I will never forget this mind blowing experience."
ACTS is a school outreach project where a team of volunteers help Form 4 students discover and appreciate the relevance of the gospel values in their lives. ACTS Teens helps teenagers to cultivate a sincere Christian faith in a fun and welcoming environment. A team of young people organises meetings on Friday to provide follow-up to students who have attended the school sessions organised by ACTS.
The ACTS team has taken their student outreach this year to around 20 different schools, meeting around 1000 students.
Every Friday evening the ACTS Teens team meets up with teens aged 13-16, organising various meetings including discussion, mass, hangouts & Q&A. During the year they hold other activities such as their annual Summer and Christmas parties.
120 participants, 2 days of camp, expectations exceeded! This year ACTS Teens team prepared all summer for their annual summer activity, Venture Camp in September, where they spent two days discussing, sharing, praying, and enjoying activities that helped them create new or strengthen existing friendships with each other and with God.
The new band, consisting of 11 members, have spent most of the year building their repertiore. They played a couple of times during our courses... We'll be hearing more of them in 2017!
Ethiopia :: Living Waters Mission Team
The Living Waters Mission Team visited Ethiopia twice this year, once in April and again in Summer. This team reaches out through various projects which aim to alleviate the suffering of the people in some villages of Ethiopia where abject poverty is the normal way of life. Prayer is central to the missionary work because the team not only provides practical and tangible aid, but also seeks opportunities to share the Gospel.
